26 27 , choose option 2 then 2 you will get to the demonstration timesheet
system.
The User IDs and PINs are set up as follows:
UserID 0001# , PIN 1111# or
UserID 0002# , PIN 2222# etc
It then prompts for:
start time in the 24 hour clock, example 0700
finish time, example 1745
break length, example 0100
It then reads back the total number of hours worked, prompts the
user to press 1 to confirm, then saves the record in the database.
Things to note:
SQLphone can be easily customized to prompt for different forms
of identificaiton, and can collect and store additional information
such as dates, times and to enter project codes against time worked.
SQLphone can optionally read back the site names using either a
computer synthesized voice (TTS - Text To Speech) or pre-recorded
prompts.
The demonstration system performs limited validation, but your
business logic to validate the user input can be included if required.
The voice prompts that you hear were recorded by a colleague and
are in no way 'professional', but are adequate for demonstration
purposes.
The meter read / data collector is available as a complete outsourced
solution. Penguin Computers are able to provide a system hosted
on our own dedicated hardware for you, where your only involvement
would be to receive a daily/weekly email with your data in an agreed
format, and sending to us any static data that is reqyured by your
application.
A rented solution removes the need for you to supply a PC, Dialogic
voice processing card, telephone lines, SQLphone licence and SQLphone
customisation. The data that we can supply could include the date
& time of each call, the user submitting the data, the start,
end and break times along with the hours worked, plus any additional
data that you wish us to collect.
